Celebrate Thomas and Emily | engaged! | houston engagement photographer

In just a few weeks time, I’m shooting Tommy and Emily’s wedding in St Augustine, Florida!   During their engagement session, we were discussing how our families first became friends, and we came to the conclusion that Tommy’s older sister Caroline and I were friends first in the eighth grade  :)  Then my younger brother and Tommy became friends running cross country together in junior high and high school.  And now, Tommy’s all grown up and marrying a beautiful girl he met in Florida, Emily!  **tear**  I’m getting old.

It was such a joy to get to spend time with Emily, and I’m excited for their future together — Tommy couldn’t have done any better when he chose his wife.  I mean, really – just look at them!   As Emily described their wardrobe for the session, my heart literally leaped a little.  She found this amazing dress at a vintage store, and the whole ensemble just went so well with their personalities and style.  I love that it wasn’t forced AT ALL.
