It’s fun when a family allows you to have a session within a session – and that’s what we did with Ryan and Kathy. We were really there to capture family portraits for Ryan’s mom (which I love!), but we also captured some of Ryan and Kathy, who have been married for a little over two years now! They were super sweet to indulge me directing them all over the place. Also, can we acknowledge Kathy’s amazing hair for a second? Ok, good. Because there’s only so many people who can successfully pull-off red hair.
Ryan is a crazy talented film-maker who spends a lot of his time sharing people’s stories – like my friend’s Matt and Heather – and Kathy works with the children’s ministry at our church. They are awesome with our kids, and that’s something special to have 20-somethings in your life for your elementary aged children to look up to and admire. I asked my son, Jack, what I should write about them, and he said to tell you that Ryan builds really cool things in Minecraft. So there’s that. They are also wonderfully in love, and I imagine that the next time they have a photo session done, there will be a little one involved, so here’s to life wandering in the fog-covered mountains, not knowing what’s around the next bend.
Hi! I was wondering where this location is exactly? It’s beautiful!
