When I arrived for Hunter’s newborn session, Katie told me she wasn’t going to be in the photos. Like any new mom, she was exhausted and didn’t feel up to having her picture taken. Gosh, I don’t feel up to having my picture taken any day, so I totally get it. I asked her if she would throw her hair up and put on some makeup and hold her sweet baby. And she did. And I’m so grateful. First, I know Hunter will love these pictures one day of his mama holding him and loving him and doing it all tired. Second, I love these images. Katie is of course, gorgeous. Hunter is precious. Lily is smitten with her new brother, and John is taking it all in. I think these capture the love of this new family of four in their home.
