I’ve gotten to watch Emily in lots of different settings. I’ve seen her teach children overseas and children at home. I’ve observed her loving on teachers in an impoverished school in the Dominican Republic. I’ve watched her play with her nieces, and I’ve eaten Thanksgiving dinner with her and her wonderful family. All that time, while she waited to meet her future husband, she continued to live out a life that loved others. So it was an incredible joy to witness as she married her best friend and see God’s love poured out on them both.
Their day was so beautiful and filled with family and thoughtful details provided by aunts, sisters and friends. The pink dusk lighting made the ceremony feel extra romantic, and their reception has provided me with some new dance shot favorites!
