Carley | ridge point senior photographer

I met Carley way back when she was in Junior High! Now, she’s a beautiful high school senior and a talented swimmer for Ridge Point High School.  Pool shots for the win!!  We had beautiful light the day we shot her senior portraits, and I love the different looks we got. Goals | October 2014

October is always a full month for LWP, and this year it’s full of fabulous celebrations as well.  When I look at my google calendar, I freak out a little – but that’s why I love having goals in place each month.  It helps me to slow down and focus on what matters. Document...

      Grateful Grams | September 2014

I first saw this idea over at Nancy Ray’s fabulous blog. Since then, I’ve seen it done other places, and I love it.  First, I don’t always share all my iPhone snaps on Instagram, and second, what better way to remember things to be thankful for over the past month. Ever since Andy started seminary,...

Through photos, of course.  This is why Gretchen Rubin says in her book Happier at Home she’s a “big believer in the importance of family photos.”   I recently read Rubin’s follow-up...

            Mallory | claremont senior photographer

I shot this girl’s gorgeous older sister two years ago, so I’ve been looking forward to Mallory’s senior session – because, good genes run in the family. For Real.  Mallory described to me what she envisioned for her senior portraits, and I’m so thrilled with the location, her outfits, and THAT flag.  Texas Forever. [blogshow...
