Is this kid photogenic or what?!?  When I arrived at their home, Sam’s mom was on the phone, so I started without her — and it often works best that way.  Kids just respond differently when it’s just you and them.  He had fun showing me all his favorite toys and making silly faces.  That’s another tip – if your child has something that defines a stage in their life: toys they always play with, a shirt they HAVE to wear every day, or a lovie, it’s great to incorporate those into a session.
