Celebrating 10 Years in Business! | Upland, CA

10 years ago today I filed for my official business license in Texas. A lot of life has happened in those 10 years, both for me personally and for my amazing clients who I have the privilege to call friends. I couldn’t have predicted when I excitedly walked into that county clerk’s office on July 30, 2008 that 10 years later my business would be based in California, and my Texas clients who started it all would still very much be a part of my life. I’m so incredibly grateful for the past 10 years. 

I’m grateful for my amazing clients.

I’m grateful for all the moments and memories I’ve had the opportunity to capture. New babies, weddings, birthdays, graduations, new families, kids growing up and their parents growing older.

I’m grateful for a job that’s allowed me to be home and raise my own babies.

I’m grateful for the chance to view the world through a lens of creativity and beauty.

I’m grateful for all the places I’ve gotten to travel, people I’ve gotten to meet, and stories I’ve gotten to tell because of a camera.

I’m grateful for the constant reminder that relationships are the most important thing in our lives.

I’m grateful for light – glorious light.

I’m grateful for the provision for our family from this business.

I’m grateful for the chance to be an entrepreneur.

I’m grateful to God for this gift when I neither planned for it nor asked for it.

And maybe I’ll share some mistakes I’ve made and lessons I’ve learned along the way!
