These kiddos always leave me loving my job just a little bit more. They are the perfect combination of ambivalent and attentive. Ambivalent in that they are never trying to perform for the camera or for me – and that can be rare with kids their age – and attentive in that they do listen and follow my direction if I give it. I want to bottle them up and take them with me. At our session, we played at the park, chased turtles, and had a dance party. I can’t even remember what session this was with the Tones family, but the first was when Will was a baby. I count it a huge privilege to watch him and Bellamy grow up. And seriously, that last image – does it get any more real?!? I usually feel that way when a session wraps, too. =)
