When Doug and Tracy and kids showed up for their session, I loved their laid-back, polished style. The blues from their clothing contrasted beautifully with the natural background, and the kids were on their A-game. I tell people all the time it’s much easier for me to photograph strangers who then become friends. When I photograph friends turned clients, I feel this intense pressure to capture them as I know them. I believe I did these sweet friends justice, and I’m excited to see this first image as a large canvas!
