My sister leaves Monday for Cairo, Egypt, where she’ll live and work for a year with Sudanese refugees and in Cairo’s “trash cities.” She’ll be doing medical missions work – putting that nursing degree to good use – as well as ministering to those she comes into contact with. She’ll definitely be living out the great commission. We’re sad to see her leave but excited for this adventure and the impact she’ll have on many lives. Tomorrow night (Thursday night) my parents are hosting a prayer time for family, friends, and supporters of Anne’s. If you’re in The Woodlands, and want to come, email me and I’ll give you the details.
If you’d like to support her monetarily or through prayers, either or both would be greatly appreciated. I love that we can be a part of her ministry in Egypt by praying for her, and I’m anxious to see the Lord’s hand at work over the next year. We love you Anne!!
Wow… way to go Andrea. I’ll be praying for her from here!
Oh I wish I had read this yesterday! E-mail me next time and let me know.
